Mehbooba, Dr. Karan Singh, other delegations call on LG Sinha | KNO

Srinagar, Jun 02 (KNO): Mehbooba Mufti, former Chief Minister of J&K and President, Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, at Raj Bhawan Monday. Mufti discussed various important matters including smooth conduct of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra and dignified return and rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandit Community in the valley. Meanwhile, Dr. Karan Singh, former Union Minister and former Member of Parliament called on Lieutenant Governor. A delegation of Traders Association, Lal Chowk Srinagar led by its President Mohammad Iqbal Khan called on Lieutenant Governor. The members of the delegation put forth important matters pertaining to the improvement of civic amenities at Lal Chowk and other issues of traders’ community. The Lieutenant Governor assured that appropriate action will be taken to address the issues projected by them. Sheikh Najmus Saqib and Suhaib Feroz Jeelani, International Pencak Silat Players from Srinagar called on Lieutenant Governor and apprised him of various issues pertaining to the extension of benefits under the sports policy to the sportspersons of Jammu Kashmir—(KNO)
